SUMMER DAY TRIP TO KILKENNY CITY (Monday, August 26)
Please join our Summer Day Trip to Kilkenny ("the Marble City") on Monday, August 26. This will include an in-depth walking tour with a qualified guide, an optional lunch, and time after lunch to explore the city (including the numerous independent shops). Guests welcome.
Itinerary
8:00AM - Travel on M9 Express from Dublin City 9:45AM - Arrive in Kilkenny City 10:00AM - 12:00PM - Walking Tour of Kilkenny City (meet at 19 Rose Inn Street, across from Kilkenny Crystal Shop) 12:15PM - 1:45PM - Optional Lunch in Kilkenny City (restaurant to be confirmed). Meal at your own expense. 3:00PM - Optional Guided Tour of Kilkenny Castle (subject to confirmation) NB: We will contact you directly regarding the Kilkenny Castle Tour, including payment arrangements, after you register. To record your interest for this afternoon castle tour please register for this day trip no later than June 15. 5:40PM - Travel on M9 Express to Dublin City NB: There are two earlier buses returning to Dublin if you don't want to stay for the afternoon (at 1:45PM and 3:45PM) 7:25PM - Arrive in Dublin City (Bachelor's Walk)
