Historical Tour: Behind the Scenes of St Patrick's Cathedral
If you are coming into town for the May monthly meeting earlier in the day (10AM - 12PM) at the Harcourt, why not join us afterwards for this fascinating tour of St Patrick's Cathedral?
Join Clark Brydon – the Head of the Cathedral’s Education Department – for a rare and unique tour, where you will get to see some parts of this 800-year-old building not usually seen on the tourist route. Learn about how the Cathedral functions today, primarily as a living and working church, but also as one of Ireland’s most popular visitor attractions and event venues. Who owns the Cathedral? How is it run? Why is it here? Where can’t the normal tourist go?
