Are there any dedicated American Football Fans out there? Or members with partners who are, and that you would indulge by joining in on a Tailgate/Watch Party on Superbowl Sunday, February 11th?
Our current AWCD Day General Meeting home, the Harcourt Hotel, is hosting just that! In partnership with UCD American Football, they are throwing a Tailgate Party using the entire bar, terrace, and meeting spaces with multiple screens to show the events. They are using the media feed that will even show those famous American Superbowl commercials! There will be Tailgate Party games and prizes, typical American gameday food, and drinks specials.
The action gets started at 8:00 pm. You can stay for just the Tailgating, or go wild and stay for the game, scheduled to start at 11:30pm. That's my plan. Adding a room for the night at the hotel so we can crash after the game!
