Talk about the Luck of the Irish! Just three days before the Big Day (St. Patrick's Day, as if you needed even a hint!) at our March morning General Meeting, the members of AWCD will be treated to a talk by Mr. Albert Fenton, a member of the St. Patrick's Cathedral Board, and Chairman of the Friends of St. Patrick's Cathedral.
A noted author and speaker, Mr. Fenton has written about the Deans of the Cathedral, and in his book "Past Lives" he brings to life some 100 of the the figures of Irish history who are memorialized in the Cathedral. We are looking forward to our own personal guided "introduction" to these fascinating folks and a bit about the Order of St. Patrick by an acknowledged expert on the subject.
