Connecting with the Divine Feminine Energy of Brigid in Kildare

A guided journey of self-reflection and empowerment in quiet, yet powerful simplicity, with the energies of Brigid, led by expert in Celtic Spirituality Rev. Treacy O'Connor

WHERE: Kildare Town is located 40 km from Dublin. We will meet at Solas Bridhe Center a short (approx. 20-minute walk) from Kildare Town.

DESCRIPTION:  We are delighted for this very special opportunity to spend a day of reflection in the tradition of Celtic Spirituality with Rev. Treacy O'Connor.  As many of you were immersed in the history of Kildare and St Brigid in February, this retreat is an opportunity to connect on a deeper spiritual understanding of Brigid and what healing qualities she invites us to connect with in ourselves in these times of huge transformation (itinerary below).  

DATE: Tuesday, February 27

TIME:  Meet 10.30 AM.  Retreat begins at 10:40AM and will run until 1:30PM.  

COST: €21, due on booking (refundable up until Monday, February 12).

MAXIMUM:  Retreat is limited to 24 people.   Guests are welcome. Please register by Monday, February 12.

OPTIONAL: Lunch at the wonderful “Silken Thomas” restaurant in Kildare Town.  Not included in the tour price.

10:40 - 11:55 Brigid's Garden Well
Theme:  Connecting with Brigid to Peer into our own Inner Well

We will meet at www.solasbhride.ie and walk to the Garden Well (10 minutes away) while Treacy leads us in a contemplative walking meditaton.  At the Garden Well she will share some insights into Brigid’s nature and invite reflection.  We will then return to Solas Bridhe.

12:15 - 12:45 Brigid's Perpetual Flame 
Theme:  Connecting with Brigid's Perpetual Flame - what wants to be rekindled in you?

Connecting with the fire that Brigid ignites in us all. Treacy will share insights about the fire element of Brigid and reflection on how we can embrace more spark, vivacity, joy and determination in our lives. 

12:45 - 1:15  Time with the Brigidines

We will meet the Brigidine nuns, who have kept the flame of Brigid alive through the generations.  The Brigidines will share stories with us of their history and connection to St Brigid as they weave a cross of intention for the group.

Lunch

1:15 - 1:30 - Walk to Silken Thomas Restaurant or return home
1:30 - 3:00 - Lunch at Silken Thomas (optional)
