Hello AWCD Hillwalkers!
Our hillwalk this week will take us up Little Brockagh mountain.
Date: Thursday, 13 July 2023
Hike: This is a lovely circular walk through woodland followed by a trek through heather up to the boulder-strewn top of Little Brockagh (also known as Brockagh SE Top), from where the views are expansive and beautiful.
Meeting place: Carpark near Scoil Chaoimin Naofa, Laragh, County Wicklow
Meeting time: 10:00
Hike time: 4 hours
Please bring: 1 liter water, lunch, snack, rain gear, hat and gloves, walking sticks if you have them
Please sign up through Wild Apricot by the end of Wednesday (12 July) if you plan to join us on the walk.
This hillwalk will also be a fundraiser for AWCD's chosen charity, ARC Cancer Support Centres. The leader will donate 10 euro per hiker to ARC. Participants and non-participants are welcome to donate also, either by signing up for the ticket type "Hiking with donation" or "Donating but not hiking" on Wild Apricot, or by bringing 10 euro cash to the hike.
