Dublin Going Deeper - Anne Devlin, the Bravest of the brave Guided walking tour celebrating the life of Anne Devlin (1780-1851) in the Liberties, where she lived most of her life. Our guide, the magnificent Liz Gillis (professional historian and the author of several books about Dublin, and a native of the Liberties) will take us on a fascinating journey back to the time of Robert Emmet's rebellion in 1803 and its aftermath, up to the time of the Famine and its effects in Dublin City.
WHERE: The Liberties, Dublin City. Meet in front of St. Catherine's Church on Thomas Street.

TIME: 11:00 AM. Tour begins promptly at 11:15 and will take approximately 2 hours. Optional lunch after the tour.
