"Behind a great man is a great woman" bearing this quote in mind we will explore Dublin through the accurate lens of the women who forged the city's future. We will spend some time walking along those streets where, during the last 200 years, brave women (and men!) fought and faced their destiny for the love of their Irish identity.

Although historical Irish women are far from being forgotten, only a few are represented in statues, being this the art expression reserved to the main male characters of our history. We will give voice to these women that devoted themselves to honorable causes like education for women, Irish independence, and equality.

Irish weather is very moody, I suggest always carry an umbrella or poncho with you! Comfy shoes are highly recommended. This tour will last 2 hours.

Meeting place: Chez Max, 1 Palace St, Dublin 2, D02 XR57
