A Taste of American Thanksgiving: Learn how to make a classic Pumpkin Pie! 

Join in on the fun as you learn how to make pumpkin pie.

This year, we have two ways to join the fun: attend this event in-person or on Zoom.

In-Person

This is for the folks who want to enjoy and participate in the demonstration without getting their kitchens dirty. There will be nibbles, and of course, pie! A €10 fee will be collected for this option.

The location will be sent after registration.

Zoom

This Zoom call will be an interactive hands-on pie making session in your own home. You’ll learn the secrets to short crust pastry and how to bake that perfect pie.

  • Learn how to prepare your environment and ingredients
  • Making/rolling the pastry & filling and how to assemble
  • Baking techniques
  • Tips and tricks along the way that you won’t find in a recipe

Limited to 15 students to allow for plenty of discussion and interaction. The class will last 90-120 minutes (start to pie in oven).

The Zoom link, and a list of required ingredients and equipment will be sent after registration. Please be sure to have all ingredients and equipment available to you at the time of the session.

Vaccine required for those who wish to attend the in-person session.


Myrissa Yamashiro is an award winning home cook and personal chef from Seattle WA. She learned how to make pie with “pie whisperer” Kate McDermott, author of Art of the Pie.
