This month's speaker is Irish-American Theresa Storey, founder of The Green Apron, an award-winning artisanal preserve company based in Ballingarry, Co. Limerick. The Green Apron focuses on locally sourced ingredients, most of which are grown in her gardens and orchards in Derryclough and the walled gardens at her parents’ 18th century castle at Glenwilliam. Theresa also teaches courses/workshops; leads foraging walks; published a book “Fruit on the Table”; and was a Green Party candidate! Currently she is working on her second book and transitioning more of her workshops and business online.
