2015-2016 Sign Up for AWC Hillwalkers

Our Own Group! The AWCD is pleased to announce the formation of the AWC Hillwalkers group, through direct association with Mountaineering Ireland!  Annual Subscriptions run November to November

We are looking to form this club (minimum 10 members) - in affiliation with the AWCD and Mountaineering Ireland to benefit not just club members who want to hillwalk with the club - but also those that like to participate in hillwalking on holidays or their own time.  Youth memberships (for member children over the age of 12) are also available. This group is open to members of the AWCD and nominated friends of members.  Membership fees and benefits are described on the Mountaineering Ireland website CLICK HERE.  

Because the benefits are provided directly by Mountaineering Ireland (including 24/7 liability cover) there is a separate charge for this membership.  The AWC Hillwalkers receive full benefits of membership in Mountaineering Ireland at a discount -- as well as the opportunity to participate in their outings/get togethers, lectures, group scheme liability insurance, quarterly magazines and equipment and publishing discounts. All for less than €28 a year!  (To join on your own is far more expensive -- Individual Memberships are €41.60 per year)
