The course of true love never did run smooth For the first time in 35 years, the Abbey Theatre is proud to present A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This magical comedy continues our exploration of Shakespeare following the critically acclaimed Twelfth Night. On the eve of a Royal wedding, two pairs of lovers find themselves caught up amongst a dispute between the fairy King and Queen. Dreams and reality collide with riotous consequences but can love conquer all? Note: while this production will stay true to the original text it is a contemporary staging and promises to show us the story in a new way.
